More snow

There was a little snow left at the start of the week. It lasted until Tuesday, when we had what was apparently the warmest December day on record. It was around 15 degrees, which is pretty good for the start of December. It had been settling down to be a proper winter, too. The temperature was slowly sliding downwards, and we'd had a handful of days where it was down to -10. But today the snow hit again. It had been alternating between rain and snow all morning; I was doing a little extra work, and at about 3pm I looked out of the window to discover that we were in the middle of a blizzard. It was a very impressive sight, too. It didn't last too long, but there's around a centimeter of snow on the ground now, though it's still just around freezing. This is probably the wrong time to discover that my boots have a rather large hole in the bottom, too. So the plan for tomorrow involves buying a new pair before my feet freeze off.....
